Description

Invented by Adobe, PDF is now an open standard maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 32000-1. We will explore the pain points of PDF creation and how Bluebeam’s 2D plugins are working to address those challenges. We will also discuss the Construction Project Coalition and one of its key initiatives, “The PDF Guidelines.” Lastly, after discussing the past and the present, we will gaze into what the PDF of tomorrow might look like.

  • How a PDF can be more than just digital paper: it’s a container for information that can be easily exchanged, worked with, and consumed by project stakeholders
  • Why PDFs are not created equal and what makes a “good PDF”
  • Bluebeam’s plugins for maximizing PDF creation and Revu’s robust feature set that optimize PDFs for downstream consumption
