Description

This session explores the connection between Bluebeam Revu and ArchiCAD. We’ll discuss how PDFs can be integrated into the BIM workflow to improve design review, submittal management and overall project transparency. While BIM use has increased over the years, PDFs remain the standard format for delivering contract documents and shop drawing submittals. Whereas Revit, SketchUp, Tekla, AutoCAD and other BIM platforms have some/limited PDF functionality, ArchiCAD stands alone. Learn how to leverage Bluebeam and ArchiCAD together to create comprehensive project context for AEC teams.

In this session you will learn about:

1. Best practices in preparing Revu Sets that are ready for use with ArchiCAD.
2. Creating content organizational structures within ArchiCAD, and placing PDFs into the BIM environment in scale.
3. Performing Virtual Overlays of PDF’s against various project content, while integrating review checklists and reports into the process.
4. Setting up PDF layouts and publishers within ArchiCAD that are ready for publishing back to Revu Sets with hyperlinks.
